Physical Description

Paper, about 8 3/8 in. by 6 1/4, consisting of 278 leaves, in good preservation. The quires, signed with letters, are 23 in number. There are from 22 to 30 lines in each page. This manuscript is dated A. Gr. 2025, A. H. 1126, A.D. 1714.

Hand 1 (major, Arabic Garshuni script): This manuscript is written in a small, regular hand, with numerous vowel points and diacritical marks.

Addition 1 (Fol. 271b): There follows the copy of verses in Arabic on fol. 271 b, a note by the scribe, the bishop 'Abd al-Azalī, in which he states that the volume was written in the year above mentioned (i.e. A. Gr. 2025, A. H. 1126, A.D. 1714) at Aleppo, in the church of S.
