Physical Description
Vellum, about 10 1/4 in. by 6 3/4, consisting of 70 leaves, a few of which are a little stained, and one (fol. 68) slightly torn. The quires, seven in number (the last of 15 leaves), are signed with letters. A couple of leaves are wanting at the beginning, and one after fol. 5. There are from 23 to 26 lines in each page.

The text of these two books has been carefully edited from this manuscript by Dr. T. Skat Rőrdam, Copenhagen, 1861.
The lessons are usually indicated on the margins by the word ܩܪܝ [ܩܪܝܢܐ] at the beginning, and the letter ܫ [ܫܠܡ] at the end of each.
The margins contain the chapters, sections and versicles (e.g. fol.61a, ܦܬ ܐܠܦ, but no various readings.

On fol. 70b there is a note, in the handwriting of the scribe, but in a more cursive character, informing us that this manuscript (like the second portion of Add. 14,437
) belonged to the convent of Mār Cyriacus at Tellā Hăphīkhā.
